If you joined us for Part 1 of our 2025 Strategic Content Planning for Travel webinar, then you already know we’ve laid down a strong foundation.

We explored global travel trends, discovered creative ways to brainstorm content, tackled five time-saving social media strategies, and learned how to build unforgettable content pillars.
Now, it’s time to build on that momentum. Welcome to Part 2, where we turn strategy into action and get your content calendar running like clockwork.
Build a Winning Plan

Let’s face it—winging it week by week doesn’t work when we’re trying to grow a travel brand.
That’s why a big focus of Part 2 was helping us build a content plan that’s not only strategic but also doable for busy business owners and marketers.
We walked through a step-by-step framework designed to take the guesswork out of planning. Whether you're managing one channel or several, this system helps you stay focused, aligned with your goals, and consistent across platforms.
Here’s what we used to build it:
Strategic Page Worksheet – We started with the basics that often get overlooked.
This worksheet helps us define our content goals, target audience, and brand voice, so every piece of content we create is aligned with our bigger business vision.
We also identified key performance indicators (KPIs) to track what’s working—and what’s not—so we can improve along the way.
QuickView Per Month – Think of this as your monthly mood board.
Instead of scrambling for ideas, this section allows us to plan monthly content themes, special campaigns, and seasonal topics ahead of time.
It keeps our messaging cohesive and ensures that we’re talking about what’s relevant to travelers—whether it’s summer getaways, visa-free destinations, or long weekend deals.
Weekly Content Calendar – Here’s where it all comes together.
We broke down each week to help us plan daily posts by content type (video, image, carousel, story) and assign them to the right platforms.
This makes it easier to maintain a consistent posting schedule while balancing educational, inspirational, and promotional content.

By working through this planning system, we’re not just making our lives easier—we’re creating a consistent brand presence that builds trust, drives engagement, and keeps us top of mind for our audience.
No more last-minute scrambling. Just clear, intentional content planning that works with our schedules, not against them.

Maximize Your Online Presence
In today’s digital landscape, it’s not enough to just show up—we need to show up strategically. That’s why Part 2 also focused on how to fully leverage each social media platform with purpose and confidence.
We dove into our Online Channels Guideline, a practical reference designed to help us post smarter, not harder. Each platform—whether it’s Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn—has its own personality, and we explored how to tailor our content to fit.
We covered:
Formatting Tips – Because what works on Instagram Reels might not perform the same on Facebook or LinkedIn. We talked about ideal image sizes, caption lengths, and how to make your visuals pop across platforms.
Hashtag Strategies – We shared how to use hashtags the right way to increase discoverability without looking spammy. From niche tags to trending ones, we explored how to mix them effectively.
Optimal Posting Times – Timing is everything! While we shared general best practices for posting schedules, we also emphasized the importance of truly getting to know your audience. Every brand’s community is unique—so beyond following suggested time slots, it’s essential to observe when your followers are most active, how they engage with your content, and what sparks the most interaction. With this insight, you can fine-tune your schedule to reach them when it matters most.
But we didn’t stop there.
To help us stay one step ahead of the game, we also introduced a dedicated section on International Holidays and Events.

This calendar acts as our content inspiration board throughout the year—highlighting key dates like
World Tourism Day,
Lunar New Year, and
even quirky holidays like
National Beach Day.
These special dates give us the chance to:
Plan themed content and seasonal campaigns in advance
Join relevant conversations that travelers are already having
Add variety and creativity to our content lineup
When we know what’s coming, we can create with intention—staying timely, engaging, and always relevant to our audience.
This section of the toolkit empowers us to stop posting just for the sake of it, and start posting with purpose, clarity, and better results.
🎁 Bonus Tools to Keep You Going
To make sure we have everything we need beyond the webinar, we included:
Editable social media templates
Curated digital marketing and travel tech ebooks
